This pouch is named for the leather that never got the credit.

Cut small and stitched by hand, with a rolled edge that softens in a pocket rather than cracking. Big enough for coins, a key and a folded note. It will darken at the corners where your thumb finds it.

This red comes from a hide we bought whole. When it’s finished, it’s finished — it was never a colour anyone manufactured.

Named for Sokoto. Made in South Africa.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of direct sun. Feed with a neutral leather balm two or three times a year — more if you wear them hard.
