How your order is made
This one is finished and waiting on the shelf, so it goes out straight away. Most of what we sell is cut to order, and that runs like this.
- 01You order. We take your size, your colour and your address, and your pair joins the week’s cutting list.
- 02We cut. A paper pattern goes down on a whole hide and one pair comes off it. Nothing was stamped out in advance.
- 03We build it. Skived, stitched, soled and burnished by hand at the bench, then checked, because it leaves here with our name on it.
- 04It reaches you. Boxed and handed to the courier, or put on the counter in Randburg for you to collect free.
The story
Siwa is an oasis, which is to say a small thing in the middle of a lot of nothing that turns out to matter enormously. This is the smallest piece we make: a rounded body, one curved zip, lined, sized to hold coins, a car key and a folded card. Cut in tan and in a darker chestnut.

Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of direct sun. Feed with a neutral leather balm two or three times a year, more if you wear them hard.
