How your order is made
This one is finished and waiting on the shelf, so it goes out straight away. Most of what we sell is cut to order, and that runs like this.
- 01You order. We take your size, your colour and your address, and your pair joins the week’s cutting list.
- 02We cut. A paper pattern goes down on a whole hide and one pair comes off it. Nothing was stamped out in advance.
- 03We build it. Skived, stitched, soled and burnished by hand at the bench, then checked, because it leaves here with our name on it.
- 04It reaches you. Boxed and handed to the courier, or put on the counter in Randburg for you to collect free.
The story
Kito means precious. Two straps across the foot with a single buckle on the upper one, cut in a dark brown leather that photographs almost black and warms up the moment it is in daylight. There is nothing else to it, which is the point.
Named for what is precious. Made by us.
Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of direct sun. Feed with a neutral leather balm two or three times a year, more if you wear them hard.
