How your order is made
This one is finished and waiting on the shelf, so it goes out straight away. Most of what we sell is cut to order, and that runs like this.
- 01You order. We take your size, your colour and your address, and your pair joins the week’s cutting list.
- 02We cut. A paper pattern goes down on a whole hide and one pair comes off it. Nothing was stamped out in advance.
- 03We build it. Skived, stitched, soled and burnished by hand at the bench, then checked, because it leaves here with our name on it.
- 04It reaches you. Boxed and handed to the courier, or put on the counter in Randburg for you to collect free.
The story
A square toe slide under a single wide band of leather, held with a small buckle keeper that sits off to one side. The footbed is a textured black under the black and the red, and a deep tan under the oxblood, the ivory, the camel, the ochre and the coral. It is a dressed up shape that takes about as much effort to put on as a flip flop, which is most of the reason it sells.

Care
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Keep out of direct sun. Feed with a neutral leather balm two or three times a year, more if you wear them hard.
